Ingredients:
1 cup rolled oats
4 cups flour
1/2 cup shortening
1 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon baking soda
2 cups buttermilk
butter
Directions:
Mix dry ingredients, add shortening and then milk. Knead. Roll out thin and brush with butter. Cut into cracker size squares and bake on cookie sheet 375 degrees for 5-10 minutes each side.
